There are several major problems with Motley Fool Stock Advisor and their products in general. First, they advertise their performance against the S&P 500 Index which can be misleading because if the index is down big one year and their picks are down slightly less then they advertise that as a Read more...
This is a good value newsletter for the longer term buy and hold individual as it's relatively cheap with a lot of good information. I have renewed this newsletter for over 6 years now and while I haven't taken many of the picks they have recommended, the ones I have taken have done very well. The Read more...
"Although this newsletter has uncovered some pretty big movers over the years (e.g. DIS, PCLN, AMZN, NFLX, DLB etc. ), (NFLX was actually one of their favorites a long time ago), Results on the whole are only good to so-so. You can achieve similar results buying any above average mutual fund. D Read more...

"Following The Motley Fool lost me thousands of dollars. My experience was so terrible that I created a blog to hold them to account, australianshareanalysis.wordpress.com Recommend you avoid completely!!!"

In 2014, I lost $15000 from the worse recommendations from DDD around $60, WPRT, TCS around $27, etc, by following Motley Fool. I noticed they also recommended to buy AMZN around $400, Read more...

As a member since 2007 I can honestly say that these guys will help you make money. In fact I made a trading decision myself and only made a 60-70% return on NFLX instead of a 300% return as they advised to hold the stock and still do. My overall return over these 6-7 years is 33.5% with my curren Read more...
I subscribed to Motley Fool Stock Advisor a few years back and found it to be a good experience. I believe they averaged two stock picks per month or so, all of which turned out to be good performers for me at the time. One of the things I liked about their site is they prominantly display the perfo Read more...
