Not made easy

Not the best book to read because it the writer make it too hard to understand with $ jargon. Author didn't make the book attractive at all and that cause me to this book empty handed.

Absolutely Outstanding!!

I didn't know anything about options, and had come to Amazon to find a book that I could read that would cover the basics and hopefully go over practical trading strategies that a novice could execute. Well, I read the customer reviews on this book, at the time 9 reviews, all 5 out of 5.

I'm very glad I bought the book! The author covers the basics of options in a very clear, concise and easy to follow way. The author also covers a lot of option trading strategies, and discloses how he trades. The examples are excellent, and easy to follow.

The author also goes over the myths associated with options, and also the pitfalls (i.e. buying options with 1 month left to expiry, like a lot of option newsletters seem to recommend but he certainly does not, quite the opposite).

If you want to read up on options, you can't go wrong with this book.

Very Basic

Enjoyed the book when I first went through it but now looking back it was very basic....but I guess that's why it was entitled Options Made Easy. A good reference book for various basic strategies and a good book for an investor just starting out with options and learning how to trade them - the chapter on the greeks is especially good for an investor just starting out. Overall a simple book to use as a supplement to something larger such as McMillan's, Options as a Strategic Investment.

Good for beginners, lots of info

I can agree with reviewer Relaaax that this is a basic introduction to options trading - nothing in this book will get you up to speed with the actual trade management, but learning the fundamental factors in a company's operations that influence the stock and options, and getting an introduction to options terminology is all here. Great for beginners.

Went through it...

But not worth the time. It's too basic when it comes to options. Options are hard, and perhaps it will be suited for some, but in my opinion you'll get more information on the CBOE website, for free!!
