Autotraded with DL from 6/1/2010 to 12/16/2010 in his LII system (including options).
Not recommending.
1. His website trading record posted constantly missing closed positions, making his trading track record iffy. This should be a first sign for anyone seriously considering allowing him to manage your $ via autotrade systems.
2. Portfolio Performance lacking. Adjusted for his recommended allocation lost 10% in six months vs S&P500 being currently up over 10% for the year and over 11% since 6/1/2010. Actually lost more, because I chose higher option allocation per trade.
3. Portfolio would be slightly better if I entered already active positions as I started (2 of them), but would not make up for the loss much, plus would probably have lost on other active positions open at the time.
4. Inconsistent and lazy autotrade management. While he did not sell certain positions (options) for some platforms, he did not adjust stop losses on others, resulting in clients losing $$ (allowing option trade go from +30% to -40% and not managing stops or anything). After pointing out the problem he took a second trade with THE SAME result. His trade record will probably not show it...
My impression is that he is too busy trying to build out other parts of his business and marketing and really not putting enough effort into the DL product. While I signed up for a year, I could not risk more after the first 6 month performance.
I had high hopes as I liked his general market analysis and style, but in the end both the portfolio performance and especially his lack of attention to portfolio management in autotrade and his trade records has lost him a subscriber.
