I say 1995 because I think that was when the gross majority of the code was written for this, even those it's version 11 from a year or so ago.
You can't even do a simple task like creating a watch list, without creating these virtual folders and putting securities into them. The files containing these virtual folders continuously become corrupt and have to be replaced, thus losing all your data.
Every time you call them with a problem they tell you delete the mssmart files, but they fail to mention that doing that eliminates EVERY bit of data you've put on a chart - trend lines, support/resistance lines, text, etc.
And it seems that this is a solution for many of the hundreds of bugs, but not all, and either way who wants to lose ALL YOUR WORK everytime the thing craps out on you.
Dozens of cryptic error messages, clunky 90's architecture, and a near-comatose support staff make this a bomb.
