Technician's Best Friend, Wallet's Worst Enemy

eSignal is the premier platform for traders serious about technical analysis. Sticker shock? I can certainly understand why anyone would feel that way. However, it's not so much the price for the platform that annoys me; it's the outrageously priced data.

The platform is worth the $ all day long. The data is very clean, but not exceptionally fast (unless fully unfiltered). Why anyone would want unfiltered data I have no clue. You'd probably be better off drawing a arithmetic scale on the wall and loading up on spitballs. Need a volume indicator? Look at the floor. Spitarific.

Great for believers in Gann and Elliott

had been working with Advanced Get EOD before switching to the RT version (meanwhile taken over by eSignal). For an intermediate trader like me this tool allows quick verification of Elliott and Gann. I know a lot is based on the 5,35 period oscillator, but for anyone trying to make progress in their trading the combination of proven, powerful technical tools, a solid framework and reasonable education this is not bad. The sticker price of my package is closer to $3000 than to 125, so we might be comparing apples and potatoes here. I am commenting the Advanced Get version, not the regular one... I would not recommend the scanner though, there are better alternatives ...

Great program

I started out with eSignal in the beginning. I papertraded with it for a long time and still use it for all of it's extra features. Has so many indicators and great charting.

Support is immediate and thorough. Well recommended!
