Did not like them
"Had a secured credit card with them. Don't get Capital One if you want a secured card. They will not refund any money unless you close the card. So if you deposit 1k, which is then your credit limit, you can't come back later and request a 500 Dollar refund. I did not want to have a lot of money ti Read more...
So far so good
Made the change from TD to Capital One. So far so good! They have everything I need and no surprise charges.
Good bank, good service, only issues is that there aren't as many locations near me like with Case bank.
Bank and credit card issuer
not that many banks around but their credit cards are easy approvals and they are good with fees.
Online Savings Account

Also found if you are a Costco Executive member Costco will kick in an extra $100 after it is opened. Easy to transfer money in and out but don't be in a hurry to get it out (takes a min of 3 days) Read more...

Then the APR decreased to 1% slowly and Ally Bank came along and had a better rate but less services. To remain competitive t Read more...
I used to like capital One for customer service and they were relatively easy going with great tools, such as their web, educational materials etc. I had (still have but will move to another card) a credit card with 0% into APR and then 9.99%. I knew the rules and did read the fine print. However, w Read more...
I like them
If you travel overseas then the best credit cards are from Capital One. No International transaction fee for two of their credit cards. Venture one and venture rewards.
