The story of the best trader ever
"People who don't understand technical analysis won't understand what this amazing book is trying to say. I derived several pages of trading notes despite it being an autobiography. If Livermore was alive during the recent market crashes, he would have been wealthier than Gates and Buffett combin Read more...

Great story with a sad ending
"Good overview of the life and investing philosophy of one of the pioneers of ""techno-fundamentalist"" stock trading. The book would have been better served, though, by ending when Livermore shoots himself to death instead of rambling on about the disastrous lives of his ex-wife and son."
If you already own or have read 'the amazing life of jesse livermore', skip this one. except for the its title and certain minor editing, this book is almost identical to the latter.

The man led an interesting life, one that will likely never be duplicated. The stories of his character and life read like a Read more...

the greatest trader.
I admire jesse livermore. He truly was the greatest stock trader. His impact on wall street was so monumental--he was blamed for the market crash of 1929; as a result threatened number of times by people all over the world. however, like many people that have excelled in the market, jesse let hi Read more...

Everyone has his own story
Jesse Livermore's trading adventure was like a roller coaster, but his will of never giving up was what made him a great trader. his theories can still applied today, and the stories behind him are also interesting too. i especially love the story about Jp morgan and the book salesman
