Open E Cry is my favourite futures broker. Their platform is very customer-friendly, you really feel like you're in control of it. Controls are intuitive. This is so sad. OEC has such a nice platform set-up and excellent order execution speed. However, they are their own worst enemy! As after almost every upgrade, the software doesn't work correctly. Also, the worst part is, it takes them days and sometimes weeks to fix the problems!
Great charting software, very flexible and better than Esignal. On my system the data is a little faster as well. Its a fantastic, totally integrated system. They had some problems with upgrades before, but the system is so good I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
Opened an account in mid 2007 and was quite pleased. After they were bought by OptionsXpress in mid 2008, obviously cost cutting was on the agenda.
