This book is solid. If you're looking for a great read with some humor & insight as to how the bond market operates, then this is the one. Some parts of the book seem to drag on but overall it was well written & hard to put down.

"Michael Lewis is one of my favorite authors. You can laught reading his books but you will learn a lot about markets and about people. It is a little bit old now as when you watch Oliver Stone's Wall Street movie. But you will enjoy it for sure."

"In the 1980's, Michael Lewis was a neophyte bond salesman for Salomon Brothers in New York and London for four years. Liar's Poker is a high-stakes game the traders, salesmen, and executives play each afternoon, but it is also a metaphor for the Salomon culture of extreme risk-taking with immediate Read more...
"Does not teach you much about trading or investing but it definitely teaches you about how the financial companies worked and treated each other back then. This book definitely shows one how the financials on wall street looked like, jocks and fraternities. lol. Fun and silly book to read but def Read more...
This book is one of my favorites of all time. The descriptions of the real life characters and their exploits during the bond market frenzy of the 1980s is a pure delight. The author Michael Lewis writes in a conversational style that flows very naturally from cover to cover. Some scenes in this boo Read more...
