This documentary takes the viewer on a deeply personal journey into the everyday lives of families struggling to fight Goliath. Okay movie
This movie was somewhat entertaining and presented some information I didn't know about before, but it wasn't fantastic.

How to take advantage of your employees and make TONS of $
How to take advantage of your employees and make TONS of $! This is pretty much what is this documentary about. Having illegal immigrants working at their store in Arizona, paying low incomes and playing with their schedule so they can get paid even less. Great documentary on how a few can get billionaires because of taking advantage of their employees.

Complete takeover
This movie gives a good inside look at the negative impacts of having a Wal-Mart store brought to your area. If you live in a small town, they drive all of the local hard working business owners out of business because they can't compete with the low prices of wal-mart and still be able to survive. Also, it shows you some of the shady practices that they have used over the years, which is interesting but very disappointing to see.

Sprawl Mart
This documentary was pretty dry in some areas but extremely revealing on this big corporation the world has ever seen. It goes into depth about how Wal Mart goes into different cities/counties and with their monopoly of a business drives out mom and pop stores and causes them to close their doors after many years of dedicated business. What I thought was pretty amazing about this documentary was the towns do not have much of a choice whether or not to allow Wal Mart to build in city limits because if they decline they realize that Wal Mart will build right outside of city limits and they will not only still collapse most of those smaller stores but they will also cripple the town because Wal Mart will not have to pay their local taxes....unreal. Sprawl Mart even goes as far as to say they are fully dedicated to their staff and they create more and more jobs each year...that is great but considering they are the largest company as far as sales they have the lowest paying employees and have more employees on welfare and below the poverty line than any other corporation. Overall great and revealing documentary and my business with Sprawl Mart has gone down since I have seen this documentary

Got to see this.
If you think you already know all about how evil and rapacious America's largest retailer is, wait 'til you see this latest exercise in muckraking from Robert Greenwald.

Great documentary
Excellent job. I hate walmart, such a crappy company, I wish someone would take their market share away. Target, Costco are so much more ethical. Walmart really exploits their employees and its interesting how much they are hated and all over two billion dollars it has cost US taxpayers in subsidies, welfare programs for underpaid employees

Very well made, this insight into how the less educated of our country willingly allow themselves to be taken for over and over again is a must see

this is reality
we should know how things work

This greed company exploits other materials from weak people and

feed us, people in US.

I believe that even though most of us in here financial people are dealing with

some other issue, but we gotta at least understand about how big corporations like wal mart expolit from people and fear that they could also exploit us..

great documentary

It really gives you another perspective on the giant that is Walmart... all in all it is very informative and has presented information (like the cost on taxpayers) that I wouldnt have thought of...

I knew they were shady. Now I have facts. Target for life.
I wasn't all that surprised by the things I learned in this documentary. I knew WalMart went to great lengths to offer the lowest prices possible. Closing out the mom and pops, outsourcing labor, and treating their "associates" poorly were nothing new to me. What I didn't know is how strongly opposed WalMart is in opposition to unions (and how far they will go to shut them down) or how WalMart tells its employees to use tax payer money for things like welfare and medicaid. You are essentially supporting WalMart's employees! It's sickening. The things going on in the Shenzen province of China and Singapore were terrible as well. Those poor people work 14 hour days for a measly 3 bucks. Great job WalMart. Nice work everybody.

WalMart you are truly a piece of crap.
