He knows people...I like his commentary in 2008 during the crisis. Up front and tells it like it is. Calls a spade a spade and thats rare in this arena. Respect to Charles.
Charles is a true go-getter, well-connected, gets the inside scoop and makes a good impression. He doesn't come across as so objective, so I don't know if I can trust him.

biased, yet a resourceful reporter

I have only seen Charley when he comes on Fast Money, and it is usually just to give his opinion on the latest breaking news. This guy always acts like he has THE sources when it comes to anything! When reporting on CNBC, Charlie always tries to push how great his sources are and how they are never wrong.
