A lot of this book was the author's rambling about his life story and how he got into the stock market, lost money, then made it back. That was totally irrelevant and bored me to death. There wasn't really any tape reading either. There was a lot of content on one - minute charts, but that's scary as heck, you can scalp even without one minute charts, much less day trade. Since I have no use for anything less than 5 minute charts, this book was not for me. I know different strokes for different folks, but seriously, 1 minute charts as someone's bread and butter? Terrifying!

If you want an educational book on actual tape reading, I don't know what to say because I am looking for that as well. There are videos on it but I haven't got a chance to watch them yet, but look for my reviews in the next month or so for them. And if you want biographies that won't bore you to tears, I recommend other books (see my reviews).
