For LT investors with over (the top) complicated technicals
"When you're writing Metastock formulas to calculate the Zero-Lag TripleEMA on the average of Heikin Ashi closing prices, then I think you've gone a bit too far. For me. Some people like to add 20 la Read more...

Pompous and intellectually demented
"Taleb is a classic science denier, oscillating between anti-science and pseudo-intellectual arguments. When a scientist says something he likes, he misrepresents it to fit his narrative. When the scientific consensus is against him, he cries grand conspiracy theory or slanders the methods of sc Read more...

Not what I was expecting
For some reason I expected much more from this book. To me it didn't really give me much in respect with trading advice or technique. The book is also lengthy, but I definitely think the author didn't need 400 pages to say/explain what he said/explained. At times it was kind of boring and redundant Read more...

Ideology more then Methodology.
Yes, overly verbose, vague terms and expressions. At the end of the day the idea of this book is powerful and even if it lacks truth-value; it opens your eyes towards a new way of looking at things. A must read in finance, economics, and also just at how the book affects psychology is intriguing. Read more...
"This is a great read and anyone in the world of finance would be wise taking a look at this book. I don't believe you necessarily need to read the book to get all the concepts. Instead, I recommend you take a look at an article or two about the book to get the gist of what you need to know. It'll s Read more...

I can't believe that I didn't read The Black Swan sooner
"I could say a lot about the book in terms of how very clearly, he discusses the highly improbable events called the Black Swans, and how he intersperses the discussions with humor and great stories. But the bottom line is that the book was written and published in 2007 and he clearly predicted the Read more...
