It was totally amazing. I learned so much during the first morning that I thought I would explode with knowledge. I enjoyed every presenter and have taken away some great trading strategies, rules to follow, and about 2 extra pounds from the awesome food.
I thought about watching via webinar but then thought about what I might miss out on by talking with other traders. I met a bunch of great people during lunch and breaks. The breaks were many which were appreciated as two information packed days can really take a toll on one.
I won’t go much into who was the best presenter as I learned something from all.
Here are a few of my favorites, not necessarily in this order:
•Timothy Sykes – Invaluable
•Nathan Michaud – InvestorsLive.com – Essential lessons learned. Regarding morning trading gains, Nate said to bank it, “Don’t piss it away the rest of the day”.
•Tim Bohen - Very “Zen-like” and reminded me that I need to keep it simple.
•John Welsh - right on track with his lesson on when to get out of a trade. My major problem.
•Michael Goode aka: Reaper, ahh Reaper… what can’t I say… Loved him, good presentation filled with indispensable information on penny stock trading.
•The Dean – I admire his courage to change. Very interesting and good info to know.
•The Biotech presenters were very informative and have a different style of trading that I may give a try.
Overall the presentations were so informative that I took away something from each one. I met some great people and have more respect for Tim after meeting him in person and actually seeing all the work that he puts into making us better traders. No egos, just a bunch of guys sharing what works and what doesn’t
I was one of two women that attended the conference, so ladies if you are out there, get your @$$ there for next year. You wouldn’t believe all the great looking guys that attended… I thought for sure it would be NERD CITY… Shame on me, I’m married and old enough to be mom to some of them, but I could look and enjoy…. Thanks guys.
Well even though the saying goes, “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” I had to pass on the after party. I had an early flight the next morning so I missed out on the fun. However, after reading the reviews and the amount of alcohol consumption I’m glad that I missed it. I probably would have beat John Welsh to the stripper pole! I like your style Welsh.
Huge thanks to Tim’s mother & father. Tim’s mother Jo-Ann is a beautiful woman and very down-to-earth and Joel (Tim’s dad) is not so shabby either! Tim is very lucky to have family like that and they are very fortunate to have a son like Tim.
Keep up the good work. Can’t wait for next year!
