SCAM...trades Demo and says he trades Live
I promised JJ I would tell everyone my experience with SOT. You are reading this review because you understand the value of negative reviews. I can assure you that most of the positive 5 star reviews are bogus and made up by SOT themselves.
I took the trial and I was able to figure out the SCAM that JJ is doing. watch very carefully while in the trial room and notice when JJ shows his Chart Trader when he is in a trade. It is ALWAYS after the first target is hit ...always. He then has a buffer if the trade goes against him and can usually get out at about breakeven.
what he does is takes a trade in his SIM account then pulls over the chart so you can see the execution in NinjaTrader's Chart Trader. He says he is trading a LIVE Real Money account but it is SIM. This way he can take trades all day in SIM and those trades that do not hit his first target he just does not show the members of his trade room.
He will never show his trading DOM because the DOM will clearly show if it is a SIM or a LIVE real money account. He also could show the members in real time when he actually executes a trade but he does not do this. He executes the trades off screen and the ones that looks like they might work out for the second and subsequent targets he will pull over to show. This is why no one can duplicate his results or get the fills he does. He anticipates what will happen and places orders before hand in SIM. those trades that work out to first target he will show, those that do not he will not show even though he was talking about taking what was a valid signal. You will hear him back down verbally from the trade because it did not hit first target.
It really is so dishonest and such a Lie. It makes you think he is doing such a amazing job. But he lies and does not show every trade he takes and it is in SIM after all!
I talked to a member who had been with JJ in the early days and confirmed it is SIM. JJ made a mistake one day and showed his DOM in the trade room. it clearly was a SIM account.
I also asked for his Real money Live account statements for his trades he takes in his room and for the auto trader. JJ and his brother said: "sure thing, no problem, will email this to you ASAP"
what a joke...for the fun of it I emailed him for about a month asking for the account statements because I was finding the excuses amusing. things like, we are moving to a new office, there was an earthquake yesterday...lol...but JJ had time to write me lengthy emails of excuses...
I hope you get the picture, stay away and if you take the trail and come to the same conclusion as me please write a negative review to help your fellow honest trader not get sucked into his evil schemes, thanks
