I had blown up my account twice in the first 1.5 years of trading and had been break-even for the remaining 4 years since as a wannabe swing trader. You can say I had trading experience, but nothing to be proud of and I'm definitely no teacher.
WHAT CAUGHT MY EYE:
Awesome graphics, marketing posters on the blog, cool videos and of course the car! Who can forget the car! Quality videos really got my attention and although some of the candid ones are lacking, the professional ones are done super well.
After viewing the free preview videos, I accepted his teaching style and everything made sense. It's not a get rich quick scheme. Cameron will be the first to say he's blow up his account before more than once. I have a similar story.
Cameron's DVD put everything together for me and gave me the direction I needed. After getting a coupon code, I snatched it up right away by ordering it during my office job hours. Rushed home afterwards and started watching it immediately.
I honestly was a bit disappointed about how slow the DVD was, but after watching the whole thing, I wouldn't want it any other way. It's only the beginning that's a bit slow, but (re)learning the basics is good. It's also actually really is very important to learn where Cameron is coming from. His history is important for context. You should know your teacher. I appreciate him introducing himself and how he got to where he is.
There are a ton of examples at the end of the DVD which is great for interpreting all the info Cameron teaches you in the beginning of the DVD. Sometimes we hear bits and pieces but when examples are made, it really makes it understandable. I plan to rewatch the DVD again for sure.
I love the way Cameron shows you only a preview of a single candle, describes what he's thinking, then shows you the next candle, the next and then the next. Often times we only see the entire chart. By showing viewers candle by candle it makes us think, "What would we do?" and allows us to anticipate what the rest of the chart looks like before he shows it to you. Very effective teaching style. I like it.
To be honest, I fell asleep through a lot of the examples. It's probably not his fault. It's just me watching at times where I'm already tired. Don't expect crazy voices and excitement like Tim Sykes. Cameron's a different guy. He's a fully capable teacher and I like how he does what he preaches. Having watched Fous4x2 and subscribing to FousTV, I see great value in the entire package.
If someone were to ask me how I learned to trade, I'd point them to Fous. The only regret I have is that I didn't get this DVD earlier! I wish Fous was around to teach back in 2007 when I first started.
