You did a great job with this book tim, and im so glad to hear the story of why you published it yourself... you are truly an inspriration to people like me getting started. I enjoyed learning about opening a hedge fund and some of the pitfalls along the way... keep up the great work!
Again, another book without much in substance but a book about how to trade properly by cutting losers and holding winners. Just wonder how Timothy did in 2008? Would love to know the rest of the story.
I think Tim is a super entertaining guy to read. The insight is mindblowing, although you won´t see any real trading education in the book, other than cut your losses early.
An entertaining read, more focused on autobiographical experience rather than trading tactics, but the book aims to teach from experience. Great and funny.
"This was the first stock market related book I read. Read Rich Dad Poor Dad (Highly recommend) and that renewed my interest in the stock market. I thought it was a great book. I loved the story, it encouraged me to take risk but learn from the people that have made mistakes before me. If you are interested in the stock market I suggest you read this book.
I recently read this book and really enjoyed it. The book keeps you on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out what Tim did next. It was really great to get a better idea of where Tim came from and to learn a bit more about hedge funds.
This is the first book that I read about someone putting out their story "from rags to riches" so to say. The book really provides a good insight on importance of disciplined trading and overall being more aware of what you're doing.
