We at FalconStocks realized many years ago, while working as traders, that research from brokerage companies was not what investors thought it was. It was not free from bias. In fact, it's horribly biased, if not worthless. Brokerage research is worth almost nothing, never was. Sometimes, it's almost criminal. We've seen firms post "Buy" recommendations on stocks that are tanking and not change that until the company is basically bankrupt (yes, even firms we have worked for). When the brokerage firm realizes that they cannot get any more business from that company, then they'll change the rating. Basically, a "Buy" rating is... sometimes, a bribe to get business. Not here... we accept NO money nor advertising from any company we profile. We work for you, PERIOD!

Very, very good ideas
I've never written a review of any newsletter but wanted to for this one. It's one oft he best sources for great stock ideas. They seem to find trends that are working now and find hidden gems that seem to almost always steadily move higher. I've made a lot with their ideas and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent source for ideas and not biased
These guys have excellent picks most of the time. They seem to find small companies that are beginning a growth spurt and move a lot higher. No pink sheets, not that kind of day-trading.

I bought MEET on after their report for an avg. price of about $1.75. I sold after a double, but the damn stock hit $8.00 last month. Live & learn. A couple others that did well for me were LPTH, GIGA was a double and OCLR screamed and is still going up.

I am going to let them know about the review below. I've chatted with them and are sure they 'll fix it or somehow make it right with the guy. I've never had trouble and have messaged them many times.

Don't bother trying to contact them
I previously subscribed to the newsletter a few years ago. I let the subscription run out without renewing. A few weeks ago they emailed me with $59 for one year subscription. So I figured I would subscribe again and see how the picks are this time around. Paid on my credit card $59 and was suppose to receive email confirmation from them with my user name and password that I had chosen. I never got an email from them. Have tryed to contact through website contact page but they never respond to those as you can see through previous reviews.

Honest Company - A Response
We just wanted to comment on two poor reviews recently left.

The latest from "Sre155" whose profile shows his name as "Ryan Edwards". It's very easy for us to reset a password and takes just a minute or two so we would never purposefully do that.

We could not find ever having a subscriber by the name of Ryan Edwards and nothing close to Sre155. Going back 10 years, nobody by that name. Checked our emails as we keep them all and found nothing as well.

It makes us think that maybe it's a fake bad review by a competitor (it's happened to use before) because it's the only review this user ever made. If this is a real customer, PLEASE shoot an email or use our contact page. We want to fix that and will add plenty of time to your subscription.

The second one from LSPatwa is a special case.

While it was much longer than a week, we did receive the request. Also, you can reach us by phone because I actually SPOKE to him on the phone.

Before we could issue a refund, a chargeback was filed by the customer's credit card so the money was taken out of our account. Since it was too late to issue a refund our only option was to send a payment.

However, we could no longer issue a refund because a chargeback was made. We contacted the customer to ask that the chargeback be cancelled and we would then be able to send a refund or a payment another way. (There has been times where we sent a check or PayPal payment as a refund and THEN a chargeback was filed on us so we lost twice the subscription price!)

It was the customer's bank that declined the chargeback. We had no control over that. The bank stated that the reasons given for the chargeback were not true so they cancelled the chargeback. The customer's account is again active. After trying again to contact him, to see what we can do, we've heard nothing. Just this review.

Our reputation as an honest place is our most important asset. We don't want to ruin it just to keep a few dollars. It's not worth it.

There is a review also here earlier that had an issue with a refund and then he added a comment that he was contacted and given a refund right away and was now happy.

Less than 1% of our customers as for a refund and a huge number renew every year. We have found that about half of the refund requests were people trying to use our service for free. Previously, we had no way to track it, and people would subscribe for 3 months, ask for a refund, then using another email address, subscribe again and 3 months later ask for a refund. And on and on.... Because we didn't see their credit card information, we had no idea. So, we just need to be careful... but do issue refunds.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. We truly are one of the very few truly honest sites out there and the only family-run newsletter in the world.

Non-Responsive Customer Service - stay away
I misplaced my password to their service. I've tried for a month to simply get my password reset and no response. I can no longer use the service I've paid for and they don't seem to care at all about returning emails from paying customers. Very frustrating, unprofessional service. I see them updating the website to get new people to sign up, but once they have your money they could care less about helping you. Stay away.

Worst customer service
I signed up for their membership and paid the full fee. In about 1 week, I decided to cancel the membership b/c it wasn't what I was looking for...I tried and tried reaching them. There is no way to reach them by phone. Only way to reach them is through their website's contact page, where you write and send them an email. I did that A FEW TIMES. I never heard back from them, still to this date. It has been four months. I tried to get my refund through my credit card dispute dept and they wouldn't issue a refund b/c they state that the fee is non-refundable as stated in the terms and conditions. But they canceled my membership when I filed the dispute! So now I have paid the full 2-year membership fee, don't have a membership, and there is no way to contact them!!! VERY VERY BAD SERVICE. STAY AWAY.

Just a great newsletter, very good value.
Most of their stocks are over $1 which is what I usually trade anyway.

Great, legit website for small cap ideas - good research
Because of my trading style, this has been my favorite site. The stocks are great ideas themselves and mostly the kinds I like because most are listed and are liquid. Their reports on the stock are nice and have a lot of information. Not a lot of charts and numbers and spreadsheets, just more of plain-English explanations and reasons why they picked the stock that week and what they see for the future. Sometimes I wish they used more black and white numbers, but all that stuff is easy to find on Yahoo or any other finance site and not what you sign up for.

Legit Penny Picks Co.
Much Googling for a decent penny picks service eventually led me to these fellows. Tacking on 'review' after the firm's name steered me in the right direction. What I found impressed. By and large, and as evidenced here, followers of FalconStocks have acknowledged the co.'s real knack for picking winning stocks--reaching double- and triple-digit gains in a year or less as per the firm's holding policy.

FS tout themselves as a wholesome family biz with real people at the helm, some reportedly with experienced histories on Wall St. Whoever they are their complete track record is damn good by any standard. *Technically*, not one of 'em was a dog, for there are no red numbers listed in the record book spanning over 10 years avail online or as .pdf. A second look on charts does show some, the decided minority, experienced dramatic drawdowns before gasping for a profit. Looking at the charts for some of the winners, I noticed intermed.- long-term consolidation patterns--i.e., 'saucers' and 'cups', either with or without 'handles'--that broke out on volume and continued a momentous ascent. Could be the co. is applying some CAN SLIM sauce to their magic formula.. As I'm not a paying member of the site I haven't asked their ppl nor would I expect them to tell.

Factoring into the equation for any newsletter-style service is of course the price. Chances are, you won't find better value, esp when shopping with a skinny wallet. True, the bells-and-whistle options are nowhere to be found at FS but the price buys solid, albeit guarded, penny picks handled by gurus who know what they're doing. *For a low, low price of $149 you get not one but two years of picks! (Steely nerves not included.)*

Never responded to my request for a refund
I have been emailing FalconStocks through their website customer service for months now. I have so far received no response to my request for refund. I also tried using their email address, to no avail. Please beware of this company. I used my c...a@sbclobal address in case they read this post.

Update: Fast response, thank you.
A short while after posting the negative review FalconStocks manager sent me an email with the refund instructions. He explained to me that all my emails were trapped in his spam folder. So this update is a positive recommendation.
