Because TD is so big, I seem to always get very good fills from this company. I trade stocks and options, and always put my limit order in between the bid & ask, and I always get good fills. I like TD, no complaints.

I've used TDA for 7 years and their service gets progressively worse with every issue. They have a decent platform & execution, but if you have a problem, they are barely better than Interactive Broker. was trying to get some shares of ggwpq.pk today; had a limit order at 11.25 >:( td thought it would be OK to give me 11.30 if you're a day trader you know how big of a difference that can be.
TO has the best tools for trading. The charts could be better and commission lower but with the good fill prices they have to make money. The CS tries hard. Overall VG
For the occasional investor or heavy volume trader, TD Ameritrade is hard to beat. Great support, research, and platform(thinkorswim). However, if you are a small volume heavy trader, the commissions would probably eat you alive.
